    SUSTAINABILITY

    Renewable resources have long been part of our DNA

    For more than 100 years, rapeseed oil has been one of our main raw materials. Over the decades, other oils from renewable resources, such as castor oil, soybean oil, and even biodiesel were added to the mix. Measured by raw material input by [weight/volume], more than 80% of the raw materials used by D.O.G in 2025 were derived from renewable resources.

    Responsibility for raw materials and production processes requires sustainability.

    What the consumers are demanding nowadays is not just due to the current spirit of the times. Moreover, it is the realization that it has become more important than ever that mankind under goes a major shift in awareness.

     

    At D.O.G, we already use a high proportion of renewable raw materials, but we are not resting on our achievements. We are continuously working to reduce energy consumption per tonne produced and further increase the share of renewable raw materials.

    Our goal is to develop additives that meet defined technical requirements while also supporting the use of renewable raw materials or more efficient production processes.

    Sustainability also includes the fact that quality management is certified according to ISO 9001 and our environmental management system is certified according to ISO 14001. We do not see this as just another certificate, but take on the challenge of the continuous improvement process with great responsibility. For the continuous process, we use the well-known PDCA (Plan - Do - Check - Act) principle to ensure even better implementation.
