    Activators for Fillers

    Organofunctional silanes are hybrid compounds that combine the functionality of a reactive organic group with the inorganic functionality of an alkyl silicate in a single molecule. This special property enables their use as molecular crossings between inorganic materials and organic polymers.

    Deolink silane preparations contain 50% silane on a polymeric or mineral carrier system. They offer the following advantages over liquid products: Excellent dispersion and dosage as well as easy incorporation without staining. The polymeric carrier systems offer excellent protection against hydrolysis by atmospheric corrosion. The mineral preparations allow their use, among other things, in production processes in which liquid silanes cannot be used or can only be used with great effort. The powder form is particularly easy to process.
