D.O.G presents the first products in the new DeoAdd® 8 Series. With the DeoAdd® 8 Series, D.O.G is taking a new, application-driven approach to additive development.

Instead of starting with individual substance classes, the focus is on the specific requirements of real-world applications and the greatest possible benefit for customers.

The first two products in the new series will be presented at Lubricant Expo 2026:

DeoAdd® 8-1150
An EP additive for grinding, high-speed grinding and demanding machining processes. Its low viscosity ensures excellent creeping properties and helps transport sulphur rapidly into the contact zone. DeoAdd® 8-1150 can be used in both oil-based and water-miscible formulations.

DeoAdd® 8-2230
An EP additive developed for demanding forming processes such as deep drawing, cold forging and thread forming. Its combination of high viscosity, sulphur and fatty acid esters provides effective physical lubrication followed by chemical protection at the point of highest stress.

The DeoAdd® 8 Series combines chemistry and practical application expertise from the very beginning. It reflects D.O.G’s ambition to provide complete solutions – not just substances.
