Deoflow F is the newest product in our D.O.GUM portfolio of processing additives. Deoflow F is a water- and zinc-free dispersant which strongly improves the flow properties due to its balanced composition of soaps and fatty acid esters. Deoflow F ensures better filling of the mould in the injection moulding or transfer moulding process of the tool and can thus contribute to reduce the pressure during the injection process, which protects the machine and the environment and thus can contribute to a more sustainable production. Another advantage of Deoflow F is the positive influence on the compression set (CS). In synthetic rubbers such as EPDM, an improvement in compression set of 3 – 5% can be achieved, depending on the formulation. In addition, Deoflow F is recommended according to BfR XXI for food contact materials and is listed according to FDA – CFR Title 21, Part 177.2600, which enables Deoflow F to be used in food contact applications.

As shown in Figure 1, Deoflow F significantly improves the flow rate and the compression set without having a negative impact on the other properties. Deoflow F has a low inherent color and is therefore also suitable for very light-colored mixtures. Figure 2 shows an example of Deoflow F pellets.
