Controzon waxes form a flexible wax film on the surfaces of the vulcanizates and protect them from crack formation due to ozone attack under static conditions. Additionally, controzon waxes act as carriers for chemical ozone protecting agents and antioxidants, and improve their effectiveness. The addition of about 2 phr prevents the ozone attack known as the “frosting effect.” Supplied as pellets, Controzon waxes are easy to handle and to weigh.

Controzon

Universal antiozonant wax for rubber articles based on NR, IR, SBR, and CR, and that are used at a medium temperature, e.g. moulded articles, extruded sections, microcellular rubber, and conveyor belts. Also for articles that are in contact with foodstuffs.

Controzon W

Universal antiozonant wax for rubber articles based on NR, IR, SBR, and CR, and that are used at a medium temperature, e.g. moulded articles, extruded sections, microcellular rubber, and conveyor belts, and in articles for food applications as well.

Controzon Plus

For rubber articles based on all common elastomers that are exposed to higher temperature, e.g. moulded articles, extruded sections, microcellular rubber (dosage up to 12 phr), and conveyor belts, as well as for articles in contact with food.

Controzon S

For black articles based on NR, IR, SBR and CR, which are exposed to higher temperatures, e.g. tires as well as conveyor belts, moulded articles, extruded sections, and microcellular rubber (dosage up to 12 phr).
