For many decades, Factice used to be a low-cost partial substitute for rubber. Mainly, Factice consists on cross-linked native oils. In general specially refined rape seed and castor oils are used for the (Factice) production. By the progress of the development of synthetic rubber, the role of Factice changed from mere substitute to genuine additive. At the same time, the technology of Factice production was modernized too. A large range of specially equipped grades is available now.
Besides the classic brown sulphur Factice and white unstabilized sulphur chloride Factice, DOG-Chemie also offers Peroxide Factice, stabilized Sulphur Chloride Factice as well as H2S-crosslinked Factice grades.
