Activators for Fillers
Deolink – Silanes
The use of silanes in the rubber industry can be very versatile. Generally bifunctional organosilanes are used together with light active fillers to significantly improve the physical properties of vulcanizates.
Depending on the vulcanization system, Sulphur- or Peroxide-Silanes are chosen. The cable industry prefers Vinyl silanes to improve the electrical properties of cable compounds. Occasionally Methacrylic- and Aminosilanes are also used in the rubber industry.

Each silane requires a specific carrier system. DOG-Chemie offers for all silanes, which are commonly used in the rubber industry, a preparation on a polymeric carrier. On request, Deolink Silane preparations are also available in pre-weight, easy-melting sachets with 0,5 - 2,0 kg weight.
